DeNOx installation for Yara in Porsgrunn

SPOT AS has been selected as the supplier of piping and steel work for the new DeNOx system at Yara’s SS3 plant in Porsgrunn – an important environmental initiative replacing the previous treatment facility

Yara selected SPOT AS for the construction of a new DeNOx system for the SS3 plant in Porsgrunn. The new facility replaced the existing treatment unit.

Scope of supply included:

Fabrication of piping in DN25–DN1200 dimensions using AISI 321 and 304L stainless steel, platforms/stairs, insulation, demolition, and installation.

Yara Porsgrunn is a key facility within Yara International ASA’s global production network.

The plant in Porsgrunn produces ammonia, nitric acid, and mineral fertilizers, as well as products for industrial applications.
